Location itinerary · illustrative draft. It isn't the workshop schedule: each short's locations are chosen during scouting and, on the ground, depend on the story, the weather, road conditions and permits.

Plan B

  • If Route 7 closes beyond Uspallata, there are options in Potrerillos, Villavicencio or the Uspallata valley.
  • If La Payunia can't be reached, there are options at Laguna de Llancanelo, Caverna de las Brujas or Castillos de Pincheira.
  • Stops 07 and 12 are flexible: they absorb weather or road changes.

VIII. Logistics

The practical side

What the price includes, and what you need to plan for yourself.

Lodging. Included in the price: fourteen nights, from Monday 1 to Monday 15 November. The specific accommodation is to be confirmed.

Meals. Included. If you have a special diet (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free or other) or allergies, we'll ask when you confirm your place.

Transport. Included during the workshop. You arrive through Mendoza International Airport (MDZ).

Flights and personal expenses. Not included: getting to Mendoza and your personal expenses are on you.

Equipment. Professional film equipment and gear, included. No need to bring a camera.

Permits, insurance and legal. Included: filming permits, insurance and the legal side of the shorts are handled by the production.

Weather and personal gear. November is spring in Mendoza. If your short shoots at altitude, nights are cold and it can be windy: bring layers, warm clothes and comfortable shoes.

Altitude. If a location is in the High Andes, the climb is gradual, up to about 2,950 m, with no technical climbing. If you have a health condition, check with your doctor.

Safety. We work with a safety protocol and, wherever the terrain calls for it, with licensed guides. Weather and road conditions are checked before every outing.
